 HOW WE CAN CURTAIL THE RATE OF UNEMPLOYMENT IN GHANA


 1. KNOW YOUR FOCUS (THE FOCUS OF THE YOUTH)


Most parents decide to choose a specific job which they feel money is inside for their children.

To the educational sectors, the banking sectors, many persons lack financial training to do certain stuffs so sometimes the banking sectors can call together their partners or customers and educate them thoroughly on how to execute their business plans well



 2. GOVERNMENT MUST HAVE ACTION PLANS


The local authorities can engage and assist the youth in order to curtail unemployment.

The reason why we can’t see developments is that those in authorities themselves are not united.

The various members of parliament, municipal and district chief executive officers, chiefs and anybody who matters in the community should call for a grand durber, lay before the residents their action plans so that each and everybody especially the youth will question them so they can access opportunities available especially the employment opportunities.



 3. HAVE A PLAN B ALWAYS 


Never and ever rely on anyone for any assistance.

Don’t wait for protocol in life.

As a National service personnel ready to come out, you should be able to have a plan B. Don’t misuse your salary so that you can start something meaningful for yourself and wouldn’t have to specifically wait upon the government to employ you. Through that you can also make a living.



 4. ENGAGING CHILDREN IN BUSINESS 


Fathers and mothers who have a business of theirs should engage their children in those businesses.

Never run a business when you don’t have a successor. 

Also the children should be ready and submissive to learn and follow the process whiles their parents engage them in their businesses. Each and every family has it own traditional job they do hence children in that family should be engaged in those businesses so that the business will continue to stick with the family from generations to generations.


  • Integrity really matters and serves as a key if we really want to curtail unemployment. Integrity because when someone employs you in his or her business, you should be able to be an honest person.
